Every Problem has a Solution When You Identify the Cause

Words come easy to me.

“Life is ten percent what happens to you and ninety percent how you respond to it.” ~Lou Holtz –

In life, we will experience some or all of the following events, this is the ten percent of what happens.

  • Loss of a loved one
  • Divorce
  • Family
  • Bullying
  • Money
  • Loss of a job
  • Getting married
  • Buying a house
  • Illness

Our emotional reaction to these events falls into the ninety percent we have some control over.

  • Grief
  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Anger
  • Guilt
  • Low self-esteem

For some people the emotional response can be devastating, however, for people who generally have a positive approach to life’s problems, the emotional reaction can be short-lived.

Some of my favourite positive quotes for dealing with life’s problems are,

  1. “You must be prepared to live and die by the decisions you make every day.”
  2. “Every decision you made was the right decision for you.”
  3. “Expect people to be themselves and you will never be disappointed.”
  4. “Nobody is perfect.”
  5. “C’est la vie.”
  6. “Sometimes it’s them but more often it’s how you react to their actions.”
  7. “Nothing and nobody lasts forever.”
  8. “Embrace change.”
  9. “Let it go.”
  10. “Sometimes problems disappear with your old attitudes”
  11. “There’s a little bit of truth in everything you see.”
  12. “What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.”
  13. “The light at the end of the tunnel is coming closer every day.”
  14. “Everybody is fighting a battle you do not understand.”
  15. “What’s meant for you will not pass you by.”
  16. “Don’t take life too seriously. You’ll never get out of it alive.” ~Elbert Hubbard
