“Sometimes problems don’t require a solution to solve them; Instead they require maturity to outgrow them.”
This quote by Steve Maraboli would seem to contradict the title but the solution to the problem is to grow as a person and realise that the problem only existed because you thought it was a problem.
The point being; you can only change what you can control, if somebody you know is the source of your problem, you will spend a great deal of time and effort trying to change them, in the end you’ll realise it is a waste of time. The quickest way to bring about the change you want to see is to change the way you think about them. Accept them for who they are and move on with your life.
The same theory applies to events, you have the ability to control them or you don’t. If can control them, change them; if you have no control, accept them as they are, and move on.
“You can have some control over your body, emotions, thoughts, actions and words; use those to find a solution to every problem you think you have.”
Dr Seuss couldn’t have said it better when he coined the phrase;
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…”
You have and are the solution to every problem.
