You Have to Swim Downstream to Experience Life to The Fullest

Downstream is where the action takes place

Downstream is where all the action takes place.

Only the dying swim against the current because it’s dragging them to somewhere they do not want to go; when you are young and strong you should swim downstream because that’s where you belong, you’re meant to explore everything this world has to offer; if you were meant to stay in one place all your life, you would have been born with an anchor attached to your leg, something your mother wouldn’t have appreciated when you were being delivered, although most Irish mammies attach an anchor to their children as soon as they are old enough to think about leaving home, but that’s a story for another time.

Of course there are thousands of people who do not wander too far from home because they want to stay in familiar territory, they know where the dangers are and they know how to avoid them but, is that the meaning of life, to stay where it’s safe? The answer is one only you can provide, but remember, there is more than a hint of truth in the following quote;

“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
